Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1961) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct law professor at New York Law School and was previously Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries on National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and raised within Yakima located in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima at West Valley High School. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to a JD from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl is a former prosecutor of the US Attorney. She also worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She taught law as a tenured law professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
