Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for more than forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then she appeared in a number of Broadway productions before she became a star on national stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina during the same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious in order to dispel her image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
