Ina-Garten

Ina Garten has been a popular American writer of cook books for many seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina began her career working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. Although she found her job interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and decided to purchase a smaller specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the store extremely successful prior to selling it before acquiring a pen to begin writing her first cookbook. Many more cookbooks as well as magazine columns which came later. A different hit is the Food Network Television show. Additionally, she offers everything from equipment to cooking items and even containers. Ina she has not attended any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She is completely self-taught. She is a cook who is simple and has her entertaining style. Her most well-known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
